Darci Amundson Photography consists of just me so it may take a few days to return all of the calls. First off: What is the promotion? There are 2 options, one for high school seniors class of 2013 for $50 and the other option are for family, couple, maternity and boudoir portraits for $79:
High School Senior Session:
You get a full 1 hour session with Darci Amundson Photography. This will give you enough time to change up to 4 times but be aware that your hour session is still ticking while you change! Darci has a variety of locations she can suggest depending on your personality and style. Darci is giving you her signature style by including professional makeup with her makeup artist before your session! Purchase this deal and you also get $100 print credit to use toward your final portrait order.
Family, Engagement, Maternity and Boudoir Session:
You get a full hour session with Darci Amundson Photography. Darci’s is known for her beautiful artistic portraits so she is including a gorgeous 12×18 wall portrait with this deal. You have the option to upgrade to a larger size and finish at your personalized viewing and ordering session. Darci also is giving Living Social clients 50% off her digital files through the initial ordering session only. With these files you have the freedom to print them unlimited up to an 8×10 at a lab of your choice.
When can you schedule your portrait session? Sessions are available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can even book your session online here.
What do I wear for my session? When you schedule, Darci will go over the best outfits to wear (or what not to wear), potential locations, and any other little details to have everything go off without a hitch. She will even send her Pinterest clothing boards for inspiration.
Who can be in the portrait session? You, your family, friends, pets, and even automobiles/boats if you are so inclined. For family sessions there is a 5 person/pet max, additional people/pets are $15 each.
Why should I choose Darci Amundson Photography? I strive to go above and beyond your expectations. I have learned from some of the best photographers in the industry and to this day am still learning. I take pride in the continuing education that I do each and every year to keep myself on the cutting edge of this great industry.
My photographic style has also evolved over the years. I am a very “natural” photographer. I suggest poses that will flatter an individual, showing off the best of each person and letting their personality shine through. I have worked with over 200 models so I am comfortable with the high fashion posing and lighting that students love right now. I am very easy going and any nerves you have about getting your portraits taken will leave soon after we start our session together!
The most important reason you should have me as your portrait photographer: I am a professional. I respect my clients. You are all the reason I get to do what I love every single day and I hope to have each new client as a client for life.
I have the respect of my peers and excellent mentors. I use only professional ecologically responsible labs to make sure I am providing the highest quality, professional and environmentally conscience product.
When do I get to see my images? Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session you will have an appointment at my studio at the Southlands Mall in Aurora. Most people find this the most fun as I have a Slideshow and large screen TV that we will view all of your images on to make your decision. I also have the top of the line software that allows me to upload pictures from YOUR home to show what your wall art will look like on your own walls…yeah it’s cool!
How much is this going to cost me in the end? Honestly, this answer varies depending on the client and their needs. But I can tell you that my average sale for a family and senior portrait session is right around $1000. Some clients spend more, some less. And if you are looking at the Living Social promotion, you will get a big discount right from the start.
What are my payment options? I do take most forms of payment. Credit/Debit, cash and check.
I can also accommodate payment plans if needed for orders over $500. I want to make sure that you are able to walk out the door with a great portrait capturing lasting memories at the end of the day.
I am well known for my model photography through my photography group, First Class Photo Shoots. I set up themed shoots for area photographers and models to expand our portfolios and try new lighting, posing, and styling.
I saw Bambi Cantrell on CreativeLIVE and it inspired me to make my own newspaper dresses for this fun, Vogue styled shoot. Melissa won a session during my Christmas giveaways and I was so excited when she brought her fiance’ for a fun engagement session. They were so playful and fun the whole time, a wonderful connection that will last a lifetime. Hudson Gardens is such a beautiful location to showcase love….
This was a great meetup organized by Denver Storytellers meetup group. There were so many makeup artists, hair stylists, bodypainters and photographers involved to make this amazing shoot come together so well.
It’s pretty hard to choose if I like spring or fall photography in Denver more. There is something about the beautiful pink, white and purple blossoms on the trees that make me smile! Tara brought her fiance’, his sons, and friend for her Groupon session. Oh, and a couple of furry friends as well!
I love Manitou Springs! When I found the Penny Arcade I knew I had to set up a photography session there with my First Class Photo Shoots meetup group.
The Garner girls are amazing models from Colorado Springs and you could never tell it was a frigid 25 degrees when I did this session!
I love when my clients make props for their session. Rachel and John put a lot of thought into their very fun engagement session. They have the cutest puppy and they made an adorable heart on a stick for the puppy to hold. What I love about being a photographer in Denver is you can do a session anywhere! I loved their alley, so much texture and color. I wish them much happiness with their journey together!
When I saw levetation photography I was intrigued and knew I had to learn how to do it. I got some amazing models and my First Class Photo Shoots meetup group to help create these images.
I will be offering Levetation Photography to my clients. Rates are $200 session fee and a minimum purchase of Wall Art. These images are too cool to be small 8x10s, this type of photography will WOW your family and friends on your wall!
